With a dynamic leadership style and excellent interpersonal and communication skills, Michael has worked extensively in both the USA and Europe. He holds a Master’s and Ph.D. in Law, is admitted to the bar in Hamburg, Germany, and is a Certified Fraud Examiner. Michael is also an accomplished author of thought leadership articles, a guest lecturer at two universities, an active public speaker, and a member of various professional organizations.

Prior to that, he worked as General Counsel Legal & Compliance International at the US medtech company Cardinal Health. Professional career: Vice President Pharma Law at Novo Nordisk in Copenhagen, before that General Counsel L&C Europe at Novo Nordisk in Zurich. His in-house career started as Legal Counsel in Novartis Pharma AG in Basel; Before that, he was a lawyer at Vischer law firm. Mathias studied at the University of Freiburg (DE), received his doctorate from the University of Lausanne, obtained an LL.M. in Montreal and is admitted to the bar in Switzerland and Germany.
