Brad is a Project Director in Immunology Discovery. He has led both internal drug discovery projects and external collaborations including work on the microbiome with a focus on therapeutics for the treatment of IBD. He leads a cross-functional group within Abbvie responsible for executing on the Discovery and Clinical strategy in Gastroenterology. His experience in project leadership, immunology, and in vivo pharmacology ranges from the target identification phase through drug candidate selection and IND.

Amir Bein
Amir is a senior postdoctoral fellow at Don Ingber’s lab at the Wyss Institute for Biologically Inspired Engineering at Harvard University. Amir received his PhD from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem and is a Hoffman Leadership and Responsibility Fellowship Program laureate. He is a certified dietitian with past in/out patient and private clinic experience in clinical nutrition.
Amir has extensive research experience in intestinal physiology and pathophysiology with a focus on mechanisms of gut inflammation. His biophysical work covers the development of a label free SPR based cells biosensor and a method for cryopreservation of adherent cells.
Current work at the Ingber lab focuses on developing in-vitro models for intestinal infection and Environmental Enteric Dysfunction (EED) using Organ-On-Chip microfluidic technology that can recapitulate the multicellular architectures, tissue-tissue interfaces, chemical gradients, mechanical cues and vascular perfusion of the body.
