Ryan Triplette
Rooted on both sides of the Atlantic (Paris, France and Washington, DC, USA), I take an international view on every matter I handle, constantly sourcing relevant information from different data points to ensure a robust understanding of not only what is driving the need for but also the potential impact at both a local and global level of any initiative.
As a global strategist with experience working with multinational corporations as a consultant, corporate executive, and senior policymaker, I understand the implications of and how to negotiate the complex regulatory and policy considerations facing innovative companies doing business in a global economy.
I specialize in formulating and engaging strategic initiatives defending regulatory and societal licenses to operate that protects and reflect a particular corporate ethos while also responding to the needs of the public and policymakers. These companies include, but not limited to: Apple, Cisco, Dropbox, eBay / Stubhub, Field, Google, Intel, NukkAI, Salesforce, Sema, Silicon Valley Bank, and Uber.
With a background based in negotiating policy for the technology industry, I can identify international policy trends and their impact both on companies increasingly reliant on technology for the growth and preservation of their market-share. Areas of policy specialty focus include, but are not limited to: competition, intellectual property, security, and artificial intelligence.
Understanding that international policy trends are key to protecting both regulatory and societal licenses to operate, both of which are core to the long-term viability of a company. I have worked with startups looking to enter a new market, venture capital funds seeking to understand the impact of policy on their investments, and established companies of all sizes facing regulatory threats to their business operations.
