Steven Latré
Prof. Steven Latré, is an associate professor at the University of Antwerp and director at the research centre imec, Belgium. He is leading the IDLab Antwerp research group (85+ members), which is performing applied and fundamental research in the area of communication networks and distributed intelligence. His personal research interests are in the domain of machine learning and its application to wireless network optimization.
He received a Master of Science degree in computer science from Ghent University, Belgium and a Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering from the same university with the title “Autonomic Quality of Experience Management of Multimedia Services”. He is author or co-author of more than 100 papers published in international journals or in the proceedings of international conferences. He is the recipient of the IEEE COMSOC award for best PhD in network and service management 2012, the IEEE NOMS Young Professional award 2014 and is a member of the Young Academy Belgium

Heiko Hoffmann
Heiko Hoffmann leads the Center for Autonomy Computing in the Information and Systems Sciences Lab at HRL Laboratories, LLC in Malibu, CA. HRL is a research company co-owned by the Boeing Company and General Motors. Before joining HRL, he was a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Southern California and the University of Edinburgh, U.K., developing new methods for robotic motion generation and machine learning. Heiko holds a Masters in Physics from Heidelberg University in Germany and a Ph.D. in Robotics and Machine Learning for work at the Max Planck Institute for Human Cognitive and Brain Sciences in Germany.
Guy Paillet
Guy is the inventor of the ZISC (Zero Instruction Set Computer), a silicon neural network chip back in 1993. He brings a long experience in hard-wired artificial vision systems and parallel pattern recognition architecture to the company. He is an “out-of-the-box” thinker and can solve complex problems related to sensing (especially vision) and artificial intelligence with elegant, yet practical solutions. Guy talent has served in several companies including Data Sud Systems (DSS), IBM, EuroPixels and General Vision Inc.
